Robot Digital Stamp
Above is my robot Valentine card for Retro Sketches.
I’m playing around with my new digital robot image. I thought why not
join some fun with Retro Sketches and Crazy 4 Challenges this week? I
need some inspiration and these sites have the most inspirational
challenges going on all the time! Valentine Robot digital stamp
is colored with Copic markers. I used a card folder from my super handy
box of cards by DCWV and various card stock papers. I’m not sure If
you can see in the photos but I used this cool Cuttlebug gears embossing
folder on the embellishment paper, top left on the card. Read more...

Digital Stamping in Seven Steps
Just a short while ago, I didn’t know anything about digital stamping. I
also thought “digital stamping” sounded high tech and overwhelming.
Once I downloaded my first digital stamp I was hooked! I needed a
snowman image for a 4th grade class project and the only usable image I
could find was on the All Free Digital Stamps
site. The image was perfect for our class project. I was able to size
the image and print it out multiple times for the kids to cut and
color. Now I illustrate for digital stamp graphic companies and offer
digital stamps for card makers! Read more...

First I would like to share pictures from the Stampin’ Up! card making

Halloween Digital Stamps
Above are some examples of the “Kitty and Spiders” AND “Bat and Spider” digital stamps used different ways for card making. My favorite? I think I like the one front and center this time. It’s the one with the cute bat and spider with the polka dot ribbon. It was one of the last examples I came up with. Funny how an after thought can be the best design! These were neat stamps to play around with. There are so many different design and color choices. My Copics came in really handy with these digital stamps, as always! Read more...

Card Making News 9/4/14
Glitter nail polish! Yes, it’s a strong smell but the effect is worth
it. Yes, (as someone so nicely commented) it’s the most expensive paint
in the world but I love the shiny finish and hey, what else would I do
with nail polish? I don’t wear it! I have no patience for drying my
nails. I usually only use tiny amounts of glitter so the nail polish
trick is such a good one for me. I don’t get glitter gone wild all over
my desk. Stickles is a good glitter glue but I like the way nail
polish will cover an area smoothly. Read more...

Card Making News 8/20/14
Right now I have “Napping Kitty With Tuna Dreams” (above) as a free gift for you.
Mom gives Subway cards for birthday presents to her grand boys. I
thought this card would be great paired with a gift card to a sandwich
shop and maybe a movie? The paper was a free gift that came with one of the card making magazines I
purchased at the craft store. Score! Read more...
